2022 Muldoon Park Clean up
Our Efforts Make a Difference!
Our clean-up crew met May 12, 2022 at 5:00 pm with rakes, brooms, leaf blowers, and a big box of trash bags. A tremendous amount of litter accumulated over the winter. We ended up with a pickup load of trash to haul away.
Excellent job Lamar Cotten, Ron Fassett, Owen Carey and Maureen Retzal, for your continuing efforts with keeping the Muldoon Park clean, safe and beautiful.
Muldoon Elementary Literacy Program
Since 2009, Gateway Rotary has collaborated with Muldoon Elementary with their Reading Program. Gateway members volunteer at Muldoon Elementary on Tuesdays for 1 hour during the school year, beginning at 4:30 pm. Our goal is to inspire students to the joys of reading.
Chugach Manor and View Meal Deliveries
Gateway Rotary serves the community of people of all ages. However, COVID has made it challenging for many facing food insecurity, particularly senior citizens. Volunteers help with delivering meals five days a week, and the need for volunteers ramps up around the holiday seasons— Rotarians directly serve those who need it the most.
Reflectors for Muldoon Elementary Students

Did you know that if you walk along a road without a reflector, the car driver will only see you when they are only 25-30 meters away? When using reflectors, you can be seen from a distance of 140 meters.
